Monday, October 15:

  • 12 pm- 1:30pm: Lunch
  • 1:30 pm- 5 pm: Convening Table Meetings*
  • 1:30 pm- 4:30 pm: Deep Dive (for those not attending Convening Table meetings)
  • 6 pm- 7:30 pm: CUG Opening Dinner and Panel
  • 8 pm- 9 pm:   Opening Worship with The Rev. Traci Blackmon, preacher; Aaron Myers, music leader

Tuesday, October 16:

  • 8:30 am-9:15 am: Morning Worship with Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton, preacher; Aaron Myers, music leader
  • 9:30 am- 11:45 am: Dr. David Anderson Hooker facilitating “Hard Truths in Beloved Community”
  • 12 pm- 1 pm: Lunch
  • 1:30 pm- 3 pm: Dr. David Anderson Hooker
  • 3:30 pm- 5:00pm: Deep Dives:
    • Introduction to UCC’s resource, “Sacred Conversations to End Racism – a Cultural Approach” led by Rev. Curtiss DeYoung and Dr. Velda Love
  • 4 pm- 6:30 pm: Intergenerational Think Tank
  • 7 pm- 9 pm: Awards Dinner

Wednesday, October 17:

  • 7:30 am:   Ecumenical Officer and Governing Board Breakfast
  • 9 am- 3 pm:  Governing Board Meeting
  • 9 am-12 pm: Local and Regional Ecumenism Committee Meeting

This year’s Christian Unity Gathering will be held at the College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, located near the University of Maryland Campus in Hyattsville, MD.
